Göbel

 Yesterday, we went to the village of Göbel in Balıkesir. It was a lovely village; it used to be a municipality. There are some excellent restaurants there—some places even serve stuffed rabbit. There were four of us: Cemil, Reis, the village headman, and myself. It was Reis's village. We picked some figs. Afterward, Reis's older sister gave us some tomato paste, pickles, and a few melons. Reis's brother-in-law owns four shotguns; he mentioned that one of them dates back to 1979. We had a great meal and a wonderful time exploring. We ended up returning quite late.
