Today

 I’m feeling a bit under the weather today. I didn’t go to work. I hope no one is specifically trying to reach me. I keep sneezing, and my face feels like it’s burning. My blanket and pillow are in the living room; I might go back to sleep. At the same time, I need to study. Over the last three weeks, I’ve memorized about 800 C2-level English words. I need to get that number up to a thousand. Even if I don’t see an immediate payoff, I feel stronger the more I study.
